Verizon Wireless' accelerated LTE launch puts Clearwire under pressure to roll out Mobile WiMAX in more U.S. cities

Verizon Wireless (VZW) will introduce Long Term Evolution (LTE) service in two "pre-commercial" cities later this year before a broader deployment next year, Chief Technology Officer Dick Lynch said this week.
